Associate in the law firm from December 2009 to present. Experience includes preparing and prosecuting patent applications, evaluating inventions for patentability and conducting prior art searches.

LAW CLERK January 2008 – December 2009
Law Clerk with Haverstock and Owens LLP, from January 2008 to December 2009. Experience includes drafting patent applications, preparing responses to international patent offices and USPTO office actions, drafting patent infringement analysis, and formulating strategies for licensing negotiations.

LEGAL INTERN September 2007 – November 2007
Legal Intern for Schinner Law Group, from September 2007 to November 2007. Experience in conducting attorney-assisted client counseling and assisted with trademark and copyright litigation. Researched and reviewed trademark and copyright issues, and evaluated infringement cases. Drafted legal memoranda and correspondences with opposing counsel.

LEGAL INTERN May 2007 – August 2007
Legal intern for Tenderlion Housing Clinic, from May 2007 to August 2007. Experience with researching medical marijuana law and its application to eviction defense in the landlord/tenant setting. Conducted introductory and subsequent client interviews. Drafted lease addendum, demand letters, and complaint for declaratory relief.

RESEARCHER September 2003 – May 2004
Researcher for the University of Notre Dame, from September 2003 to May 2004. Experience in designing and fabricating a simple circuit light-beacon sensing vehicle capable of obstacle avoidance. Tested vehicle abilities/limitations and created a performance analysis. Successfully accomplished project goals and provided ideas for future project design improvements and real world applications.

SENIOR PROJECT September 2003 -May 2004
Senior project for University of Notre Dame, from September 2003 to May 2004. Experience in designing RF position tracking method for home audio system. Fabricated MAX232 to interface between PIC-microcontroller and central computer serial port. Matched baud rate to output oscillation of PIC-microcontroller to produce ASCH characters a system command signal.
